Private First Class Joseph E Sheridan  

 

Joseph E Sheridan was born in 1923 in Bradford County in Pennsylvania and lost his life during the Battle of the Bulge January 8, 1945 during the battle "Dead Man's Ridge
Joseph was the wire Eugene J Sheridan, who was a tanner and Lulu Luann Sheridan Shiner. Joseph is barely 6 years old he lost his dad.

Joseph Sheridan has two brothers and two sisters.
Joseph Sheridan was enrolled November 2, 1942 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Before that he was a truck driver.
He volunteered for the paratroops and joined Company F of the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment. On August 30, 1943 he was appointed Private First Class.
He took the jump on Normandy on 6 June 44. His unit was attached to the 82nd Airborne Division. Then it was attached was the 17th Airborne Division.
Pfc Joseph Sheridan is the American Cemetery of Henri-Chapelle in Belgium. Plot G, Row 14, Grave 43.
